• Pre-Tournament Training

    Debaters who have not participated in the public forum competition must participate in it, and it is strongly recommended that all participants register to participate.

    Content of the Course

    • Help debate novices become familiar with the rules and procedures of the "public forum system" debate competition, understand and master certain debate ideas and skills.
    • Analyze and explain the topic deeply, such as the background of the topic and the related knowledge.
    • Help the debater clarify the ideas, organize and improve the arguments, refutation arguments, and common arguments related to the argument.
    • Help debaters learn to master debating skills and learn to better use debating skills, and fully prepare for the competition.
    • Whether you are a novice or a veteran, this will be extremely helpful for your debate competition, which can help you improve the efficiency of preparation and face the debate competition more confidently.

    Module A&B - Video Course: Link to the course will be published one week before the competition
    Module C - Live course: 6:00-7:30 pm on Friday the week before the tournament
    • Course Description
    The course consists of three modules A, B and C. Each module lasts for 1.5 hours, a total of 4.5 hours. Among them, module A and module B are flexible video and broadcast classes, which can be used for debaters to learn at anytime and anywhere. They also have a quiz to check the learning results in time. Module C is a tutor question answering course in the form of live broadcast. Debaters can interact with tutors online.
